Definition:
Polyvinyl acetate based, multi-purpose adhesive.
 
Properties:
Thanks to its strong bonding force and easy application, it can be used safely
in all kinds of wood bonding, massiving and joiner works.
 
Surfaces to be Applied:
Skeleton glue used for bonding all kinds of wooden materials such as wood,
veneer, formica and chipboard. The surfaces to be bonded must be cleaned
from dust, dirt and oils.
 
Application:
Depends on the surface. After the glue is thoroughly mixed, it is applied
to the surface and pressed. For a good adhesion, make sure that the air
temperature is above +15ºC.
 
Dilution:
Apply the RedColour Wood Glue as teo coats with a roller or brush
to bring application consistency by diluting with a 5-10% water.In
airless spraying, it can be diluted with water at a rate of 10% and
applied in a single coat provided that sufficient film thickness is
achieved.
 
Drying Time:
DURATION (20ºC, at 65% HR)
Touch dry: 2-3 hours
Waiting time between coats: 12-24 hours
Hard dry: 24 hours
Note: The drying time may be prolonged at higher relative humidity
and lower temperature. Maximum coverage is obtained in cases
where waiting time is considered and primer application is
performed.
 
Consumption:
Depending on the type, absorbency and structure of the application
surface, 9-15 m² area can be painted in a single coat (25 ± 5 μm dry
film thickness) with 1 Liter. A controlled sample should be run for
precise consumption.
 
Storing:
It should be stored between 5-35 ºC in closed containers without
direct sunlight. The lid of the package should be kept closed when
not in use. Protect from frost.
